This past weekend we started to pull out our fall decor (and yes, that included just a few Halloween items – don’t judge). It’s our favorite. We love pulling out all of the pumpkins, fall leaf decor and apple-scented candles. The past few weeks happen to be particularly loaded with some dinner engagements and with that in mind, we want to spend a few extra minutes thinking about our dining room table decorations this fall. To get some ideas, we turned to a few of our favorite online sources. Here’s what we found particularly inspiring.
This feels at once classic and rustic, which are the perfect vibes for a few of the groups we’re hosting this season. The simple greenery traversing down the burlap table runner, with the whole table dotted with beautiful, small, white pumpkins is such an unexpected twist on the traditional autumn color palette.
We are LOVING the wooden disc chargers in this set-up. They are so perfect for so many occasions and we are already trying to figure out how to make them a reality in our home. Paired with the bright florals on both the place setting and centerpiece, as well as the glowing metallics of the votives, and we’re ready to take a seat and enjoy a long, leisurely evening at this table.
This one’s got a very vintage, old fashioned feel to it, and we’ve also got events coming up where this vibe will be the ideal. The sunflowers are such a great idea, but those old school root beer bottles standing in as vases are the really great part. We also obviously love those wooden “stands” and bowl of apples idea. All of this is easy to execute, and that may be what we like about it the most.
This tablescape is so amazingly subtle and sophisticated in its fall themes. We love the mixed media table runners, everything from burlap to kraft paper. We love the numerous small votive candles, burnt orange and brown-hued patterned napkins, and of course, those leaf prints on the plates. The green arrangements in the center are really just the icing on the cake.
And here’s where we go full-on fall. From the orange table linens to the real pumpkin centerpieces stuff with gorgeously-colored fall leaves, we can’t get enough. The leaf place cards are delightful, and an idea we’ll definitely be using, and the long, fall-hued tapers really complement the shorter pumpkin centerpieces.
